En Allemagne, ces centrales sont responsables de <a href=\"https:\/\/discovery.researcher.life\/article\/electricity-cost-and-co2-savings-potential-for-chlor-alkali-electrolysis-plants-benefits-of-electricity-price-dependent-demand-response\/c70c9cb5ca563d1c83e83318b4b7edd9\">plus de 2 % de la consommation totale d&#8217;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9,<\/a> devenant ainsi des acteurs cl\u00e9s du syst\u00e8me \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. La participation croissante des sources renouvelables a intensifi\u00e9 la fluctuation des prix de l&#8217;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, ce qui affecte les co\u00fbts d&#8217;exploitation des usines.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Pendant les p\u00e9riodes de forte production d&#8217;\u00e9nergie renouvelable, les prix de l&#8217;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 diminuent consid\u00e9rablement, offrant une opportunit\u00e9 aux usines d&#8217;ajuster leurs op\u00e9rations et de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts lorsque les prix sont bas.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>R\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la demande : une opportunit\u00e9 d&#8217;\u00e9conomies<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>La r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la demande permet aux usines d&#8217;\u00e9lectrolyse d&#8217;ajuster leur consommation d&#8217;\u00e9nergie en fonction des conditions du march\u00e9<\/strong>. D\u00e9placer la production vers des p\u00e9riodes o\u00f9 les prix sont plus bas ne r\u00e9duit pas seulement les co\u00fbts d&#8217;exploitation, mais contribue \u00e9galement \u00e0 stabiliser le r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique. Selon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S0306261923016276\">une \u00e9tude<\/a>, la mise en \u0153uvre de strat\u00e9gies de r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la demande peut g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des \u00e9conomies sur les co\u00fbts \u00e9lectriques allant de 5,8 % \u00e0 22 %, selon le sc\u00e9nario et la flexibilit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle de l&#8217;usine.  <\/p>\n\n<p>En plus des avantages \u00e9conomiques, la r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la demande peut entra\u00eener une r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de CO<sub>2<\/sub>, variant entre 2,7 % et 10,1 %. En 2019, l&#8217;\u00e9cart entre les prix les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s et les plus bas \u00e9tait de 28 %, mais d&#8217;ici 2040, cet \u00e9cart devrait atteindre 87 %. Plus l&#8217;\u00e9cart entre les prix \u00e9lev\u00e9s et bas est important, plus l&#8217;incitation sera grande pour les usines d&#8217;ajuster leur production en fonction de la fen\u00eatre de demande afin de profiter des moments de moindre co\u00fbt. Par ailleurs, une plus grande flexibilit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle des usines d&#8217;\u00e9lectrolyse leur permettra d&#8217;ajuster leur consommation de mani\u00e8re plus efficace.  <\/p>\n\n<p>D&#8217;autre part, \u00e0 mesure que la proportion d&#8217;\u00e9nergie provenant de sources telles que le solaire et l&#8217;\u00e9olien augmente, l&#8217;opportunit\u00e9 de consommer de l&#8217;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 propre et de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de CO<sub>2<\/sub> augmente \u00e9galement.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>D\u00e9fis et opportunit\u00e9s<\/h2>\n\n<p>Bien que la r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la demande offre des avantages, elle pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement des d\u00e9fis.
